The professional architect degrees; are as follows:
- A 5-year Bachelor of Architecture, this path is for the student entering school straight from high school, and or, with no previous architectural training.
- The 2-year Masters degree, is for the student with a pre-professional undergraduate degree in architecture or a related area of study.

However, if this much schooling is out of the question for you, don’t worry because various art schools, trade schools, technical schools and vocational schools offer other options to accomplish your goal and educational needs.
There are certificates and other degrees that take less schooling then the formal architecture schools; and still allow you to work in your chosen field of drafting, design, landscape design and interior design.
